The Founder...
Giovanni was born in Gualdo Tadino in 1943, after attending the Istituto Statale d’Arte graduated in 1962. As soon as he finished his studies, he went to his first work experience at some local companies. In 1966 he decided to set up his own company and set up his own company that still operates on the market.During his long professional career, Giovanni participated several times in the “International Ceramics Competition” winning in 1963 the 3rd prize as a ceramist and the gold medal with a service carried out at another company. In 1967 he won the 2nd prize with a study service and in 1978 a gold plaque with a lamp. In recent years some of the products produced have been exhibited in various Italian and foreign museums.Moreover, among the most significant awards are the award received by Confartigianato in 2006 and the “Ceramista of the Year” award in 2008.

Our Story
Passeri Ceramiche d’Arte has been producing handmade Italian ceramics since 1966, when the company was founded by Mr. Giovanni Passeri. Today, his son Danilo leads the company, carrying forward an artisan tradition that spans over 60 years. Our collections have always combined contemporary trends with the craftsmanship experience built up over the years. In fact, every piece is handcrafted and hand-painted, following techniques and artistic qualities passed down through the centuries in our land. Therefore, the “Passeri” signature, present on every piece, guarantees a high standard of design, quality and artisan style.
Italian Style and Inspiration
Each collection stems from in-depth research into shapes and colours. For example, Italian taste and style, admired worldwide, remain a constant source of inspiration. Above all, the goal has always been to create a recognisable, tangible style in every product: handmade vases, ceramic lamps, centrepieces, decorative amphorae, in small and large sizes. So, this distinctive identity has grown stronger over the years, now setting the Passeri brand apart in the world of artistic ceramics.

Our artisan nature is our greatest strength. Every piece, in fact, is customised according to clients’ specific requests: shapes, colours, sizes and finishes, made to order. Moreover, close collaboration with interior designers and architects gives shape and colour to their projects, through unique pieces designed for private homes and residential spaces.
Bespoke Ceramics for Contract & Hospitality
Beyond single-piece projects, our artisan expertise is also at the service of contract companies, design studios and hotel groups. For instance, small and medium batches of coordinated handmade ceramics — vases, lamps, décor pieces — are produced to furnish hotels, resorts, restaurants and hospitality spaces with a consistent identity. Furthermore, every batch preserves the uniqueness of handcrafted work, while ensuring stylistic consistency across all pieces made for the project. As a result, close collaboration with design teams meets the timelines, quantities and technical specifications required by the hospitality and hotel industry.
